Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This policy explains how The Scorekeeper app and this website, thescorekeeper.dk, handle information. The short version: The Scorekeeper is built to work entirely on your own device, so there's very little to explain.
The app: your data stays on your device
The Scorekeeper does not require an account, sign-up, or login. When you create games, players, or scores, that information is saved locally on your device — using Apple's standard on-device storage on iPhone and iPad, or Android's standard on-device storage on Android. It is not uploaded to a server, not synced to a cloud account, and not shared with the developer or any third party.
- No account or personal profile is created or required.
- No game, player, or score data is transmitted off your device by the app.
- The app is designed to work fully offline.
- Deleting the app removes its locally stored data from your device.
Free tier, Pro upgrade & in-app purchases
The Scorekeeper is free to download and use, with a limit of 2 active games and 2 rounds per game. A one-time Pro purchase (not a subscription) removes those limits. If you make this or any other in-app purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play and governed by their own privacy and payment policies. The Scorekeeper does not receive or store your payment details.
Analytics and advertising
The Scorekeeper does not use third-party advertising networks or behavioral tracking. Apple and Google may each collect standard, aggregated store analytics (such as crash reports or download counts) under their own developer terms; this is outside the app's control and is covered by Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.
This website
thescorekeeper.dk is a static, informational website. It does not use cookies to track you, does not require sign-in, and does not collect personal information beyond what your browser or web server automatically logs for basic operation and security (such as IP address and request timestamps, handled by our hosting provider).
Children's privacy
The Scorekeeper does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because the app does not collect personal information at all — all data stays on-device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
